Junior Certificate in Islamic Learning Weekend School Learning Program
The Fairfax Institute’s Weekend School Learning Program (TFI’s WSLP) admits junior and senior high school students enrolled in a participating Islamic center weekend school. Selected students attend regular classes and other curricular and extra-curricular activities at their own Islamic center, and graduate on having completed their own school requirements.
Participating students receive The Fairfax Institute’s Junior Certificate in Islamic Learning at the end of the school year, if they:
(a) attend classes regularly at the participating weekend school,
(b) are placed in top third of their class.
(c) receive favorable recommendation from their teacher, and
(d) attend a two-hour TFI assessment session
Participating students are granted full TFI tuition waiver. The Fairfax Institute also covers cost of books and supplies, wages of Islamic center’s teachers working with the selected students, and other expenses approved for instructional purposes.
Principals and directors of weekend schools are invited to apply to register as a participating school. The Fairfax Institute’s approval or disapproval of an application is final. Please print this form, fill in the information and fax it to 703-471-3922, or mail it to the Fairfax Institute, 500 Grove Street, Herndon VA, 20170.
